Soft Taco Sauce

Mexican food is a biggie at my house, and soft tacos are one of the favorites.  There are a variety of sauces that I like to use.  The recipe below is one that my whole family enjoys. It has kind of a ranch-taco sauce flavor.  We've tried it on chicken, shrimp, and meatless tacos with delicious results (I'm sure it would be just as yummy on steak and fish, too)!
This recipe has quite a few ingredients, but it comes together in a snap.  Give it a try - you'll be glad you did.  Olé!

Soft Taco Sauce

Ingredients:
1 tbsp buttermilk powder
1 tsp dried minced onion
3/4 tsp ground cumin
1/2 tsp dried parsley
1/4 tsp dried dill
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/8 tsp black pepper
1/8 tsp sugar
1/8 tsp smoked paprika
1/8 tsp ancho chile powder
1/8 tsp salt
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1/4 tsp minced garlic
1 tsp white vinegar
1/2 cup tomato sauce

Directions:
1.  In a small bowl, stir together the buttermilk powder, onion, cumin, parsley, dill, garlic powder, pepper, sugar, paprika, chile powder, and salt.

3.  Stir in the mayonnaise until the dry ingredients are completely incorporated.

4.  Stir in the garlic, vinegar, and tomato sauce until well blended.

5.  You can use this sauce right away, but it's even better if you cover and chill for an hour or so to let the flavors mingle.
